Hercules Strip Seal Joint (HSJ)

HERCULES Strip Seal Joint (HSJ)  is engineered to accommodate small movement requirements (up to 80 mm) typically encountered in short-span bridges. The system features a single-element elastomeric seal, manufactured from high-grade extruded polychloroprene elastomer, securely retained by robust steel edge rails. For bridge joints with skew angles, the HSJ system can be customized with looped anchors positioned at the required skew to integrate with bridge reinforcement bars.

Testing and performance verification are supported by the i-Lab Testing and Research Center, an ISO 17025:2017-accredited facility equipped with advanced testing capabilities. The center is capable of conducting Fatigue Cyclic Load tests to assess the performance and durability of the joint system, with particular focus on critical welded connections.

HERCULES’s team of qualified and experienced engineers and technicians is also available to provide site supervision during the installation of stripseal joints, ensuring proper handling, alignment, and reliable performance on-site.
